The Ballroom is located on the 2nd floor of the Curry Student Center at Northeastern University. The Student Center is located in the center of Northeastern's campus; a map is available at http://www.northeastern.edu/campusmap/printable/campusmap.pdf and the student center is building 50 (CSC). An image of the interior of the Ballroom is available at http://www.flickr.com/photos/jamespatrick/93438183/.
Northeastern is well-connected to Boston's public transportation system (the T). Options for getting to campus include:
Orange Line: The Orange Line stop Ruggles is in the middle of campus; it is a 3 minute walk from the stop to the Student Center.
Green Line 'E': The Green Line 'E' Branch stop Northeastern is also on-campus and is a short walk to campus. Do note that the Green Line splits into three other branches ('B', 'C', and 'D', none of which stop near Northeastern).
Bus: Ruggles is also a hub for T busses, and a number of lines stop at Ruggles or near campus.
Commuter Rail: Many commuter rail trains stop at Ruggles as well.
Northeastern offers parking to visitors in the Renaissance Garage, located at 835 Columbus Avenue (adjacent to the Ruggles T stop). The rate for parking is $20 for up to 12 hours ($28 for more than 12 hours). A map of the parking garage location is available at http://www.northeastern.edu/parking/images/NU_ParkingLotMap.pdf.
The banquet will be held at:
The Elephant Walk, Boston
900 Beacon St
Boston, MA 02215
+1 (617) 247-1500
(Note that there are two branches of the Elephant Walk in the city; this is the one that's close to NEU)
The banquet starts at 7:00 pm. To get to the restaurant, there are two options:
1. Walk (~25 min): If the weather is nice, it's a nice stroll through the Fens. Directions are given on Google Maps below:

(A is the Curry Student Center [location of the conference], B is the Elephant Walk).
2. Take the T (~30 min): The easiest way to do this is to walk up to the Northeastern Green Line E stop and take it Inbound (towards Lechemere). Take it until Arlington, and then get out, change directions, and take the Green Line D Outbound (towards Riverside) to the Fenway stop:

Important note: You may be tempted to change from the E line to the D line at Copley. You can do this, but you'll have to exit the station (and have to pay a second fare). Stay on until Arlington if you don't want to pay twice.
