The Conference on Online Social Networks (COSN) was born in 2013 as a
single-track high visibility premiere conference. It is the first ACM
conference on the topic of online social networks. COSN is the result
of merging 6 different OSN-related workshops that were held for many
years at different venues:
The first two years of the conference have showed an excellent paper
submission count, relatively low acceptance rate, and decent
attendance. Many of the papers presented in COSN have already been
cited in subsequent social network research literature and several
of the papers have led to media coverage.
We are soliciting sponsorship primarily to keep registration costs low
(thus enabling higher student participation) and to pay for student
travel grants.
In 2015, COSN will be held in the Bay Area, making it an excellent
opportunity for supporters to look for graduating talent.
